Local Animal Rescues and Organizations:

3 Sisters Equine Rescue

3 Sisters Equine Refuge is a 501c3 charity, founded in 2014 to provide rehabilitation, retraining, and placement for equines. They rescue horses who are at-risk of entering or have already entered the slaughter pipeline and focus on healing and training with the goal of adopting a loving, permanent home.

Herd U Needed A Home

Herd U Needed A Home is a Border Collie and herding dog rescue and adoption program located in Bend, Oregon. They were founded in the spring of 2014, and are a fully-accredited non-profit corporation under IRS section 501 (c) (3). They accept rescues from almost anywhere and place dogs for adoption throughout the Pacific Northwest. Since 2014, they have rescued and placed 212 dogs for adoption.

Loved Again Pets

Loved Again Pets is an all-volunteer rescue organization that focuses on local animals in need and also from high kill shelters in other areas. They are devoted to the older adult, senior and special needs animals.

Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon

Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon, Inc. is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Golden Retrievers. Their mission is to find caring, adoptive homes for Goldens in need and to educate the public to prevent the homeless Goldens of the future.

The Rawley Project

The Rawley Project helps dogs that may be suffering from a life of cruelty, neglect and/or abandonment. They work locally and globally to find homes and provide care for dogs. They also serve the Central Oregon community by providing affordable care to reduce the overpopulation of dogs and cats through their sterilization and wellness program, FIXbend and their global effort, El Proyecto Pancho.
